Benison Day Nursery has been established since 1986 and is owned and run by its Principal Mrs Julie Swinnerton BA 1st Class Hons, Childhood Studies, Nursery Manager Jan Tunnicliffe, Early Years Professional Status, and Deputy Manager Beci Grieve Level 5 Childrens Care Learning & Development.

At Benison we work hard to establish a happy and secure environment. Our aim is to offer the best standard of childcare and pre-school education in a loving and supportive environment, encouraging each child at every stage and valuing them as an individual.

Learning through play

We believe that play sets the stage for learning and hands on experiences better support children's learning. Our environment and staff support children to gain self confidence and belief by gaining competences and practicing skills.

Our nursery is a member of the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA) and received an outstanding score in our last Ofsted report. We have gained recognition from the I CAN charity for our work in supporting and enhancing young children's communication skills. We have also received a platinum 'Eat Well' award and a "5 Star Rating in Food Hygiene" from Cheshire West and Chester Council.
