Extracts from the OFSTED report (2nd February 2016)

The leaders and managers are inspirational. They are highly motivated and driven and this has a positive impact on all areas of the provision. They provide continuous support to staff to help them develop their teaching. The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. Children's safety and welfare is given the utmost priority. There is an extremely strong and consistent emphasis on promoting staff's professional development. Managers recognise they would like to continue to encourage staff to share excellent practice to support their own committed drive to continually improve. The management team regularly evaluates the quality of teaching. They provide ongoing, innovative and highly effective support, supervision and training. Training attended by all staff has a significant and positive impact on the teaching and learning.

All children make rapid progress in their learning. They are active and independent learners who have an eager disposition towards learning. They are extremely well supported to acquire the skills they need for school.

Children are supported extremely well and play and learn in a vibrant, stimulating environment, both indoors and outdoors. They demonstrate an eagerness to try new things and are confident and motivated to learn.

Self-evaluation systems are thorough and take into account the views of staff, children and parents. Plans for improvement are well targeted and achievable. The exceptional practice is worthy of dissemination to other settings.

I spent 2 and a 1/2 hours on Friday evening reading all of the journey that you had put together for us.
Thank you so much. It brought lots of happy tears, memories and I felt very proud of our son and how far he has                      come and how hard all of you at Benisons have worked to support him and genuinely love and care for him. It made me realise just how happy and safe he was with you all and it is very sad but unavoidable that life moves on and so do we. He started school yesterday a very likable, fun, well rounded and caring little boy.
